Recently,I have noticed there were some English readers visited my blog, so I decided to write some English post. This will also help me to practice my English writing. I’d like to write something about China and Guangzhou, like what’s hot in the China internet and my daily life in Guangzhou. You can also suggest what would you like to read from a guy who live in Guangzhou by droping a comment. Your interest it’s also one of my consideration while bloging.
Here it comes - what I have done yesterday:
I have mouth ulcers for almost 2 weeks and it’s getting worse. Yesterday, I went to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. This Hospital is like the best in Guangzhou. I got to the hospital at 10am. When I registered in the front door I was told there were too many patients waiting, so I could only to see a doctor in the afternoon. Therefore, I went to South China Normal University which is near the hospital. I was going to spend my waiting time in the library of the University. Actually, I was graduated from SCNU,So I can still go in the library to read a book but not allow to bollow one. However, When I went to the library, I found it’s closed, there was a note said this is the place where teachers marking the exam of the gao kao(China’s College Entry Test). My younger brother also took the gao kao this year. Well then, I’d better go to a bookstore near the university and might buy some books. I walked to the bookstore and found it’s closed too - there were some contructions going on.
I walked around and wondered where I should go. I felt a little hungry and tired, So I decided to go to the canteen of the University to eat and have a rest. When I got to the canteen - thank goodness, It’s not closed! Finally I found a place where I can spend the time waiting.
Until 2pm in the afternoon, I got up and went to the hospital. Soon it’s my turn. I told the doctor that I suffer from mouth ulcers repeatedly. I asked her to prescribe the medicine that my previous doctor gave me to relieve the pain. She said that this kind of medicine right now it’s out of stock in this hospital. She also told me this medicine is called iodine glycerin, which I can buy from a pharmacy ouside without a prescription. She gave me some vitamin C and vitamin B.
When I left the hospital, I got an idea to go to my friend TS’ place and hang out with him this afternond. So I called TS, and took a bus to his place at Shangshe, which is a well known village in the city, many non-local people live there. I went into TS’ place, it was very noisy. The upstairs of the building was doing some destructions. The electric drill was drilling, the hammers were beating, all making blasted noise which was right on the top of us. How loud it was? It could probably dried you mad. Then TS turned on the music loudly, but it still couldn’t cover the noise. I sat in the sofa, with the huge noise and the music, thinking about what I have been through today, “what a intersting day”, I said to myself, and then I fell asleep.
