The Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA championship of the 2008-2009 season. This made Sun Yue, who plays for the Lakers, become the second Chinese basketball player to ever win an NBA championship, after Mengke Bateer (in the 2002-03 season with San Antonio Spurs). There are total five Chinese players in the NBA. So an NBA Chinese player has 40% (two in five) probability to win the NBA championship. This chance is much greater than an NBA USA player has.
According to the above reliable statistics, does this mean China is better than USA in basketball?
